Maybe the forthcoming era will be entitled 'Maybe Plastic City'. Maybe you will like the idea. Maybe we will take some time to redesign the whole website for this new era, maybe we stay in the sun and do this in winter.

Maybe life has a meaning, maybe you will find it, maybe we will show you...

VA / T
he Timewriter - Deep Train 2 (PLACCD032)
Following his third album, “Diary Of A Lonely Sailor”, which was heartily embraced and hailed by the music press, Plastic City presents the second Timewriter Mix compilation. Deep Train 2 offers a selection of sophisticated house pearls which are cosily embedded in a layer of sensuality. Like his own productions, Deep Train 2 comes as a truly deep and emotional deliverance. The Darmstadt-based artist serves a top-class selection of house productions which are otherwise available but on vinyl. The Timewriter blends the tracks chosen with heart and intuition into an extra tight mix, full of warm sounds, cool and hypnotic beats and fat bass lines while always tinting them with a connoisseur’s portion of soul.

Terry's Café 6 (PLACCD033)
Terry Lee Brown Jr. celebrates the opening of his 6th Terry's Cafe branch. The menue is full of classics, brandnew creations and a lot of exotic flavours. The beats are black like coffee and the vocals sweet like cream.
He always and first has the dancefloor in mind when he presents his newest House favourites but this alternate combination of clubtracks works perfekt at home as well. Resume: Terry reaches his targets again and serves us a perfekt mixture of pumpin’ House, some straight forward bassdrums and relaxing sounds. Dancable but also laid back, that's the musical mixture that makes the Terry's Cafe series so popular.

The Timewriter - Diary Of A Lonely Sailor (PLACCD030)
After 4 years of going through cold turkey, the long-awaited third album of The Timewriter is coming at you. This House music prodigy (whose sound once was referred to as “the real 21st century soul”) has set hallmarks of excellence with his album releases “Letters From The Jester” (1997) and “Jigsaw Pieces” (1998). As the title already suggests, The Timewriter has processed his experiences of the last 4 years into sound – and the result is multifarious like the diary of a sailor who has travelled the seven seas: from breezy Vocal House and lugubrious Dub House up to groovy TechHouse. The 15 tracks on the album come up to all expectations. With „Diary Of A Lonely Sailor“, The Timewriter underpins his ambassadorship in the ocean of this year´s House releases. The album is also available as a triple vinyl pack.

Babak keeps up the high quality standard of the first two releases while stretching his Tech-House horizon and daring to enjoy new liberties. Including tracks of House masterminds such as Steve Bug, Vincenzo or Hakan Lidbo but also offering a platform for young and upcoming artists such as ILO (from Iceland) or JB
