Nick Curly began his career at the tender of age 15 when he became the resident DJ at the legendary Vibration Club in the Karlsruhe region of Germany. Ten years later and he is now the resident DJ at the Loft Club in Ludwigshafen, as well as at the Soho Club in Mannheim. A regular at clubs around Germany for much of the past decade, Nick is now becoming a sought after DJ in other European territories. Whilst Nick was building his DJ career, these last few years he has also been putting together the finishing touches to his skills as a composer of music and, since 2006, has been releasing his own productions. Nick draws on a range of inspirations when making music - such luminaries as DJ Sneak, Frankie Knuckles, Air, RAJO, Dennis Ferrer, Fred Everything and Villalobos, Luciano - to produce a sound that is very contemporary and touches on elements of house, tech-house, techno and minimal. Nick is constantly searching for the best balance, in each track.

Most of Nick’s releases to date have been put out on his own 8Bit Records and Cécille Records labels, which he runs from his base in Mannheim, Germany. However there are some exciting new tracks lined up on the the labels Murmur Records (UK), Supernature (a new imprint run by the guys from Audiofly) and on Plastic City.
